RISING star Shadow Sax is in a strong position to extend his winning streak at Geelong on Saturday night.
Engaged in the Pacing Cup, Shadow Sax has drawn to find the lead from barrier three for trainer Emma Stewart.
The son of Shadow Play is unbeaten from five starts this term, with Stewart confident Shadow Sax’s perfect record will remain intact.
“He has come back in sensational form and has stepped up every time we’ve raised the bar a little,” Stewart said.
“He’s had seven starts from a 15-month break for six wins and a second, so you can’t as for much more from him.
“His last couple have been very good as he’s gone up in grade and won really well.
“From a good draw at Geelong he will be pretty hard to beat.”
Citing Tee Cee Bee Macray as the main danger, Stewart is also weary of multiple Cup winner, Messini.
Although he is yet to win a key open class feature, Tee Cee Bee Macray has gained quite a following and gets his opportunity to reward his faithful from barrier six.
Messini will begin from the inside of the second row.
