FORMER New Zealand star Christen Me is favoured to continue his impressive American form when he competes at Dover Downs tonight.

Boasting three wins and a second from his last four starts, Christen Me will begin from the outside of the front row in the six-horse field.

Despite his wide draw, the son of Christian Cullen is the 6/4 favourite for trainer Jim King junior.

A 1:49.1 winner in Australia, Christen Me’s main danger is Mel Mara, which will begin from gate five.

Prepared by Dylan Davis, Mel Mara boasts a best time of 1:48.

Major Uptrend, which won in 1:49 at Dover Downs earlier this year with Tony Morgan in the bike, is also expected to be a major threat.
