LEADING reinswoman Amanda Turnbull dominated her home track last night.
From six drives at Bathurst Turnbull registered five wins and a third, with her minor placing part of a family trifecta.
Emma Turnbull emerged triumphant, with Steve and Amanda filling the placings.
Along with her driving quintet, Turnbull trained a double, with a member of her stable – Eliza Dushku – kick-starting proceedings.
Beginning quickly to lead from barrier three, Eliza Dushku ‘slayed’ her rivals with a 1:58.4 effort over 1730 metres.
Turnbull prepared Quaint Glen to score later on the cards, while also combining with her father for a double with Zaras Choice and Intransit.
Uncly Ryan, trained by Chris Frisby, rounded out Turnbull’s evening when scoring by 20 metres from Great Rainbow, with Salacia a head away third.
It is the 11th time – an Australian record – Turnbull has driven five winners at a meeting, with six of those occasions coming at Bathurst!
Turnbull is one of 10 Australian reinswomen to register a quintet, with the elite sorority including Trista Dixon, Kate Gath, Dani Hill, Kerryn Manning, Jodi Quinlan, Natalie Rasmussen, Lauren Tritton, Julie Weidemann and Lola Weidemann.
Manning holds the record for the most wins on a card by a reinswoman, having won six races on three occasions.
