IN-FORM pacer Boltnmach faces a tough task in keeping his winning streak going when he heads to Launceston tonight.
Successful at his last three starts, the son of Mach Three has drawn the outside of the second row.
Despite the obstacle, trainer Justin Campbell is confident Boltnmach will be hard to beat over 2200 metres.
“He is racing in good form, working great and I’m very happy with him,” Campbell said. “He has always been a good money spinner and tries his best.
“He’s always competitive and that won’t change tonight. The draw has made it tough, but he will still be hard to beat.”
Citing Hear The Call as the main danger, Campbell is also weary of Full Speed Ahead.
Boasting three wins and two seconds from his last five starts, Hear The Call has drawn to lead from barrier two.
Full Speed Ahead, which has two wins and a second from his three previous outings, has also drawn the back line.
“Hear The Call is in top form and has the draw to make him the one to beat,” Campbell said. “Full Speed Ahead is also racing well, but like Boltnmach, he has the second line to overcome.”
Campbell also has handy performer Damitsam in the field, with the gelding to begin from the inside of the back row.
“Damitsam has been working well,” Campbell said. “He was unlucky last week when he got dragged back by a tiring runner and he will do well again.”
