HANDY performer Terror At Night caused a minor upset with her 1:53.3 win in last night’s $16,000 Mares Open at Harrington Raceway.

There was a cavalry charge for the early lead, but when the dust settled, Terror At Night was in front through an opening quarter mile in 27 seconds.

The fieldmarched to the half mile in 56.3 seconds before Terror At Night held off pocket sitting Matinee Dragon to the wire for a narrow win. Purrfect Bags was third.

Trained by Les Givens and driven by Allan Davis, the four-year-old registered her third win of the year when paying $12.80 on the tote.

Gary Ewing’s Sweet Bobbie, driven by Art Stafford junior completed consecutive wins by capturing the $10,000 Pace.
