ALTHOUGH lacking slightly in fitness, promising filly Dont Think Twice is ready to continue her march towards another feature race success.

Triumphant in the Bathurst Gold Tiara last March, Dont Think Twice is aiming for a Group One double via Saturday night’s Breeders’ Challenge semi-finals at Tabcorp Park Menangle.

Dont Think Twice has drawn barrier three in the Alabar-sponsored futurity, with trainer Jason Grimson confident the two-year-old can extend her winning streak.

“I couldn’t have asked for a better draw with her,” Grimson said. “If she can’t find the lead from there, she will be right on the pace, which will suit her.

“I would have liked to have given her a trial to sharpen up, but with the amount of rain we’ve had, I wasn’t able to do so. She has missed a bit of work, but I imagine a lot of fillies are in the same boat.

“That said she is definitely feeling good enough to win.”

Should the daughter of Armbro Operative make her way into the June 26 Final as expected, it will be her last start for the season.

“After this series she will go for a good spell,” Grimson said. “She has been up for a while and will benefit from a nice long break.”
